Coaching for Creatives
Coaching for Creatives is a bespoke programme of workshops designed specifically for those working in, aspiring to work in or connected with the creative industries.
It is designed to empower participants to move forward and reach their full potential in their creative lives. In a powerful three step programme you will take stock of where you are now, especially looking at the values and beliefs that underpin your creativity, map out where you want to be and what you want to achieve in the future and finally put together a plan to move you to exactly where you want to be.
It may help you to:
- Start that project you’ve been thinking about for ages.
- Form that music ensemble you’ve been planning for years.
- Make that next step in your acting career.
- Start that Dance School you’ve always dreamed of forming.
- Start writing that new script.
- Set up that podcast to share your unique creative insights
- Produce that new short film.
- Find that directing project you’ve been dreaming of.
- Start your creative career with powerful clarity and focus.
Creatives are often brimming with ideas but are sometimes not as disciplined and systematic as they need to be to help turn these ideas into reality. C4C will help you gain the skills you need to turn your dreams into reality and move forward to a successful and fulfilling creative life.
C4C is designed for anybody who works in, aspires to work in or is involved in any aspect of the creative industries. You may be a freelancer,
a student, a full-time arts worker or an enthusiastic amateur. You may be at the beginning of your creative journey, already a successful practitioner, someone who wants to rekindle a past passion or someone who wants to turn a hobby into a career.
C4C is specifically designed to support all and any of these to better understand themselves as creatives, where
they want to be with their creativity and how best they can accomplish it.
C4C is especially powerful for those at the start of their Creative journeys. Final year students who are planning the first steps of their creative careers would especially benefit from the programme. It will give clarity and a unique perspective on what you want as a creative and furnish you with the tools to help forge your way in the competitive world that you will meet.
Coaching for Creatives is designed as a six-hour course that can be delivered over three or six sessions or as a one-day programme.
It is very flexible and can be designed to meet your needs or the needs of your participants.

“Dave is really calm
and generous”
I’m not sure what I was expecting really but I wasn’t disappointed. Dave is really calm and generous. He encouraged us to be generous to each other as well and guided us through some really great discussions. I think those moments were my favourite times, we were really truthful in the safe space he created. It’s really fascinating to watch other people’s journeys over the weeks. I pretty much stuck to my goals throughout, but other people went off on a complete tangent and that was super interesting! I’d definitely recommend it; the cost was reasonable, and I met some great people I think I’ll stay in touch with.

“I can’t recommend
Dave enough”
Working with Dave has been an absolute joy! He’s brilliant at empowering you to find solutions to pursue your creative goals. He really gets you thinking in ways that push you forward, all without pressure or judgement. Every session felt like a chat with a mate who genuinely wants to see you succeed. I always left feeling more focused, energised, and ready to crack on with my goals. I can’t recommend Dave enough.

“Dave create such an empowering and supportive space”
I loved working with Dave trying to figure out what I really wanted. It was a real joy to be in a room with such kind, creative and caring people. Dave creates such an empowering and supportive space, and I can’t recommend it enough. These sessions helped me to refocus and regain confidence in my goals and aspirations.

I first started working with Dave 20 years ago in his school and I was always so impressed with his boundless energy and commitment to supporting young creatives. Being a creative person can be a lonely and challenging road; it is difficult to know what the next step should be or how best to approach the next task. But it can be life changing to have the right support and mentorship, particularly at the beginning of your career. I can think of no one better than Dave to help guide young actors, musicians, and creatives through the challenging periods of your career, whether you’re just starting off or are having a mid-career lull.

I have known Dave for many years and have witnessed first-hand his passion for the creative arts and his above-and-beyond mentorship of young actors hoping to enter a career in performing. I know the value of a wise and trusted mentor- someone to help you organise, strategise, focus, and reach your full potential. I can think of few people more suited to be that person for anyone starting out- or is in a mid-career rut- who needs some warm and friendly guidance, based on experience and knowledge.
